FLASH Sale, Pattern Giveaway & More!

Hey Hey!!!  It is "LUCKY" Friday... and I put together a FUN group of patterns to giveaway this week over on our FB page!  I will be giving away a lot of sets, so be sure to leave a comment over on our page!!!

Before I forget, I have added more kits of ALL the Vintage Truck thru the Year KITS!  We are also having a Weekend FLASH Sale!  Be sure to go check the kits & sale out!  It is worth a LOOK!

I am SUPER excited to share this news with you!  As some of you know, spring market is just around the corner!  This year it will be at Salt Lake City!  Soooo....Right after market, I will be teaching a wool appliqué class and giving 2 trunk shows at My Girlfriend's Quilt Shoppe in Midway!  It is their {NEW} 2nd shop!  I can't wait to see it!  I am also very  excited to meet so many of you handwork enthusiasts in Utah!!!!!  I love Salt Lake City, so this will be the icing on the cake!  Be sure to watch for more info or email them at midway@mygirlfriendsquiltshoppe.com for more info!  I know spaces are limited  - so if you are interested... Hurry and check it out!

This week was amazing at the shop!  Besides getting in a TON of wool, trays and threads to put on the website...our new phone systems were installed {which allows anyone in the shop to take your calls at anytime}!  Exciting!!!  Jodi also started at the shop!  It is sooo awesome to have her back!  She had been my side kick for many years {back in the day} and took time off to be there for her kiddos!  {She's a great momma & super cook too!!!}  She, too, had missed being in the creative environment and will be at the shop 4 days starting in April!  YEEHAW!  Now we are talking!

I have also been working on my NEW fabric line! {I know you are all anxiously waiting for it!!!} I have been having SEW much fun!  There always seems to be so many options, that it is hard to narrow lines down!  I really am happy to have the opportunity to be more creative and bring you some great prints to add to your stash!  We are hoping to have the line released at fall market!  The fun never ends here at the Basin!

On the home front, Hannah's team did great at the Robotics Competition last weekend!  Their team made it to the finals and lost.  Luckily, since they did so well, they were able to be the wild card team and will be going to compete at Nationals in St. Louis next month!  I am so pumped for the kids!  How exciting!  This weekend will be filled with making homemade pizza, movies, games & sleepovers!  Gotta make the memories while we can with the girls {and their friends}!  {Crossing my fingers the cleaning fairy comes tomorrow while I work... so I can make some cookies instead of cleaning later!!! LOL!}  Wishful thinking!!!!

Hope you all have a great weekend!  The weather is FABULOUS!  Can't wait to enjoy it!  So my question for you is...  what's your FAV medium to work in or have you been out to any quilts shows yet this spring?!  Just leave a comment over on our FB page for a chance to win a set of 3 groovy patterns!!!!!!!  And oh!  I am LOVING all the photos you continue to share here with me & our readers on the FB page!  Keep em coming gals!!!!!

Wow, quite a sale you're having. I've posted a comment on your facebook page and maybe I'll get lucky. Have a great weekend.

I saw that you are coming back to Utah. Wish MGFQS was hosting it at store #1, and then I would be there in a heartbeat. It is only 15 minutes from home.
Looking forward to seeing your new fabric.
And big congrats to Hannah!!

I can't wait to see your new fabric, hoping to get up to the quilted crow this summer and see what is new.
We lost our prim quilt shop but it is only a two hour drive so a nice day trip.
I finally got my letter E done, love doing your new BOM and still need to decide on a finish for last years, I am too impatient to do little triangles;)
